Change one thing

Ok, so you are in charge now. You can change one thing only. What do you do?

Me, I'd switch Mavididi and Fatawu and get them using their 'better' foot to put some decent balls into the box. All this inverted winhers shit is bollox. Every defenders knows what's coming. Yes you get a great goal every once in a blue moon, eg Bournemouth away, but I'd much rather have a hat full of bang average goals from quality crosses.

Your turn...

Coady for wout
Absolutely this.

I'd love to change all of yesterday's back four, but Ricardo wasn't ready, Doyle suspended, and I'll acknowledge festergards passing is essential. That just leaves the mad clown. Everything wrong with our defence, and him in particular, was summed up in his tug on the shorts that should have led to a penalty. Schoolboy.

Rremind all outfield players it's not a crime to shoot when in or around the penalty area, it doesn't have to be " walked in". Perfect example is Leeds goals against us at their place, we wouldn't have taken the shot on.

Who do we have who would have scored the Bristol goal yesterday?

We would have taken another 5/6 touches and then given the ball away again

What difference will that do? It's not like cricket or rugby where captain has a important job.
Surely the duty of a captain of any team, Rugby,Football,Cricket,Basketball,Hockey etc etc etc is to lead by example and to motivate/inspire and drive their fellow team mates on isnt that what Bobby Moore did in 1966 or am I missing the point of such an important role.
Handing the arm band to a player not long after his drink/drive conviction devalues the role and sets a poor example to teammates by someone who is lucky enough to be in the team let alone be captain!

Anyone listen to Fryatt after the game finished He said tactics and substitutions were not very good and we need to change the way we play sometimes.

Maresca's dogmatism that only his way will work is lunacy when it relies on two wingers who have largely been out of form for the whole calendar year meaning that we simply don't look like scoring enough goals when there's always a chance we'll concede. Is it too much to ask for two strikers when that would appear to be the one area where we have a surplus?
