Cant see any hope

Clueless, never caused any worries down the middle whatsoever. No plan B at all, bit Wengeresque

Ricardo & fatawu aside they looked completely disinterested
When you have 2 midfielders in Kdh & casadei play as shit/ lack of any purpose, then you don’t stand a chance.

You can't play football by walking around.
No tempo, no movement, no nothing.
That was an extremely poor performance.

I can't get over what a shit game we played.
If we lost 2-3 and the game was like the Sunderland game I wouldn't be concerned.
Let's face it this was a test which we abjectly failed.
There was nothing you could take from it.
We looked a million miles from being a Premier League team on that evidence

We were shit apart from Fatawu who worked his socks off. I never want to see Vardy start again because he was utterly anonymous. Butch is a real disappointment as well. We only picked up when Hamza came on and when it was too late. We desperately need a decent striker.

Keeper was good

We are playing against very poor opposition who have not got the
budgets to put a decent squad together
We have a large squad and most teams cannot compete with it
Leeds did and we looked second best all over the park😀

Still think we need a full back and definitely a forward who can hold the ball from kicks (maybe cannon can do this) but it's not being won up there and giving up possession straight away.

The way I read it was that both defences were superb. This produced a low scoring stalemate with few chances
allowed which made it look like a slow match. For me it was a fascinating, closely fought struggle and the lack of clear chances added to the tension, knowing that one goal would likely be decisive.
Of course we prefer a 5-4 result but there is too much riding on results now which encourages a low risk approach in which possession is key.

5/6 weeks ago team's would look at our bench and shit themselves, last night we had no options, no plan B too change thing's!! It can't be down to injuy's surely????

We had our most prolific goal scorer this season on the bench who never got a look in !!

Maresca is making some bizarre selections and substitutions I think he
has found that notebook Rodgers used to write in 😁

This squad will never be a Premier League one, we'll get promoted but then another clear out. As Tartan says, is a shite League with us and Leeds possibly the only standout sides but still far removed from what's required for Premiership campaign.

I think you dismiss Ipswich too readilly.

I don’t care about Ipswich. They can go on and win it, second will do for me.

Yes of course I want us to win this league and win it with a record points haul. Promotion is the main objective though and that means top two. The play offs are far too unpredictable and the pressure on us to win would be huge.

Forget all this 100+ points we are not that good
Based on history, 92 points is enough to get automatic promotion (apart from Sheff Wed last season)
We have 39 points from 15 games so we need 53 points from 31 games
That's 15 wins, 8 draws and 8 defeats.

Based on the start of the season we will lose another 4 games at home even though we have been
doing well away from home can’t see us losing only 2 games away in the next 16 games
Going to be much tougher than some of the Blue spec brigade predicting we will go thru
the season unbeaten
Take Harry Winks out this side and we are in trouble and we don’t appear to have a plan B although
plan A is sussed
The game next weekend is a big game😀

I agree the Middlesbrough game is a big one. They drew yesterday and lost the game before but prior to these they won 6 in a row.

If we can win at Boro we’re back on track. Lose and doubts will start to creep in which will certainly test Maresca.
