Madrid 17

Rome
All great trips, the standout for me was the first Madrid trip, flew out, night in hotel, missed the fiasco that was the bus journey.
Vienna, was in the right place at the right time the whole time there, missed the clashes with the slavs.
Bruges was brilliant, strong beer made by monks, sunshine & 3-0
Copenhagen, an eye opener financially & freezing cold but loved it.
Porto, outside the bars by the river, great place to get hammered before seeing your team get hammered.
Seville, cruzcampo, beautiful city, adios Claudio.
Madrid, again, CL quarters this time, our European pinnacle. Plod get angry in Plaza Mayor.
Eindhoven, pleasant enough city, took forever to get in & out the stadium as did Rome another fantastic city with not so fantastic fans.
I got a lift back with some locals. 6 of us in the car I reckon. Had one chap’s misses day on my lap for 20 minutes back into town!!Top tales tudor! I can identify with plenty of that.
If my memory serves me correctly (and some of the alcoholic excess on these away trips may well explain why it doesn’t) we bumped into each other in the drunken wilderness on the endless schlepp back from the Bruges game back into town. When we eventually got there the whole square was still buzzing with City fans. Halcyon days indeed!
MadridTrying to think now.

I also went to Celtic for the pre season game in 2016.
Have I forgotten any? I’m surprised none are Eastern European.
I didn’t do the first Atletico game.
I didn’t go to Moscow or Athens, or Rennes or Rome. What other games have I missed?
normal?Whilst us normal people had to go to work!!
Fair play to you both. I too booked up pre semi final but accommodation was refundable so decided to swerve it.I think me (International Care In The Community Co-ordinator: Thomas Crook Esq.) and CharleyFarley were the only ones of this Parish to decide, as we'd already booked the flights and accommodation, "Fuck it! Let's go!" so off to Tirana we went. We had 3 nights there and had a great time. A really interesting city well worth the visit. Obviously if we'd have made it to the Final it would have been so much more of a blast. C'est la vie pop pickers!
