They were/are perverting the natural order the fact they they were consenting adults does not change that

It's not my scene.

But I believe that activity isn't illegal. Strange and perverted. But not against the law.

Except maybe under Sharia Law, or summat like that?

Of course they do if they're the 'right people' with the 'right views' and connected with all of the others who are 'right'. Then the whole machine will back them up, cover whatever needs to be covered up, probably with a helpful phrase or two from the media along the lines of 'conspiracy theory', 'anti semetic', or a total news blackout etc.
This looks like a nothing story to me.

If parliamentary immunity applies to MEPS (I don't know if it does or not, which is why I asked) then any MEP has it because they have been elected to that office. Nothing to do with being the right people, having the right views, or being connected.

If you say so Bud. If you say so. I think you're falling for the trap of thinking that the law is applied equally. That the law is always followed. It never gets bent and twisted by people who are good at bending and twisting anything they like.

But if you want, I'll go with you. The frameworks there, ain't it? There's no way that any would break the law and get away with it. :unsure:

But I'm not saying any of that, and not falling for any trap. I'm saying that if an MEP has immunity because all MEPs have it, that's just factual; no mystery, no subterfuge. Whether they should have it - whether there should be such a thing for people holding that office, and what offences it applies to - is a different question. I've no doubt that people without any formal immunity (officials etc) pull strings and use connections where they can to try and avoid exposure, arrest, prosecution, conviction, whatever.
