I think Gerry's buckin tweetity buckin tweets(of which there have been mercifully few in recent times) are more reliable than NewsNow. It would be nice to be wrong on this occasion.

FT ITK reckons we've made moves for a number of players for this position who are better than this guy.
Hope he's right and two of them happen.
 
If the video caption is right, and Lazio are really interested in signing him, I don't think he'll be coming here in a hurry...

Reporting that there is a bid in is not a rumour but could be wrong of course...
 
Don't think we will get him if we are in a bidding war. Most foreign signings seem to be under the radar.
