The fact that he’s scored 12 goals & 18 assists in the last 4 seasons combined says he most definitely is not.
An average of 3 goals & 4 assists a season for a winger is shit.

Barnes skills are lacking somewhat but I don’t put that down to Rodgers. I think the reported £35m is a bit light, especially as Newcastle are in the Champions League. I want to see it start with a 4.

£25 million is an insult. If Newcastle offer this I'd love to be able to tell them where to stick it and to not sell Barnes to them at any price. But we all know that won’t happen.
 
The stupid thing is that they’ll probably sell SM to their Saudi mates for £40m but only want to give us less than £30m. Mad but wouldn’t surprise me.
 
According to SSN, although there is interest from Newcastle for Barnes, they have not put in an official bid for the player. What ever this means I am not quite sure?
 
I think we should try to keep him with the promise of a big bonus if we go up and a transfer if we dont. £25m is insulting to the player and the club and I dont think we should allow those arabs to extract the yellow liquid.
