Barnes to barcodes

Does Rudkin do anything? I'm trying to understand why he's so demonised. From what I get, he gets a paycheque and not much else, if he doesn't involve himself in football operations, what's the problem?
 
He has 2 years on his contract. If he stays until January, and plays to his potential, surely his stock will only increase and he will help give us a start of season boost. Win win or am I reading this wrong?
 
I reckon Eddie Howe will get a lot out of him, and a lot more than our elite manager ever did. £50m for him sounds fair. Better move for Barnes to Newcastle than Maddison’s to spuds.

I thought that about Youri and a mid season World Cup to showcase how good he was.

Really? If he had pockets in his shorts he'd be walking round with his hands in them at times. Maybe it was the Rodgers' tactics, but there were times when you could see space for him to make a run into behind the full back for the through ball but he'd just be walking or standing there facing the defender who's got the ball.
 
There are some players that are good at football, and some that understand the game and strategy involved. Barnes is generally good at football.
 
Apparently his arrival at Barcodes would displace Saint-Maximin. I think SM is a better overall player
