I've been a long term lurker on this boards many guises, debate is good and healthy, although one or two get abusive if anyone dare point out flaws in their arguments. it does look like an MO.
 
Why does anybody have to be protected on a message board by others? Aren't we all grown adults; able to stand up for ourselves?

Life's just not like that. Yes, you can hand out imperative sentences asking for clarification. But often there's a pigeon on up above who deosn't give a toss and is ready to drop one on your bonce. No need to tick boxes or cry about it.
 
Well usually in life, if someone tells you that you don't understand something and you ask for clarification - then they tell you.

Unless that understanding involves something of a private nature.

Then fair enough.

To be honest, I'm not really bothered. Was just curious.

I just think that debate is healthy, but sometimes some people on here make personal attacks simply because of an opposing view. Most of us do not have all the facts because they are hid from us? So lets not be keyboard warriors. Lets try and add information or fact rather than insults? Ok rant over ( puts tin hat back on ):cool:
