I was on that train as a 12 year old, toilets and sinks were thrown out the windows, most windows were smashed, skinheads going mad smashing everything on the train. I don’t remember police being on board, big police presence when we got back to Leicester station

wasn't on it, 4 of us went in a car and none of us were old enough to drive. The car cost £30 and broke down about 10 times on the way, with our mates on busses passing us and taking the piss.
 
That couldn't and wouldn't happen nowadays. The only thing left on the train when it arrived would be pension books, walking sticks and badly fitting dentures.
