Thank goodness it's a wake not a woke word, we'd never hear the end of it. Oh.
 
I can remember when the shop was over the road but I never went in, I think there was a bus stop close by.
I did go in the present shop a few times and browsed and bought the odd railway mag.
I always remember the chap (Philip) with the long hair, I think it was brown back then.

Was the other side of the road where they hung big pan's on the side of the shop...Vaguely remember them from going into town on the bus with my mum?
 
Also i now recall going in their as a model railway fan Alfred sitting in the back room looking over a chess board and his son serving my dad and me!.....funny how you remember things!This must have been 1978'ish.
