Today, as I shuffled through the garden hedge, I caught my pullover on a thorn. It was annoying as my dear wife had knitted me this pullover two years ago and it still remained dear to me as a clothing favourite. I came into the kitchen and realised that she'd been at the sink, watching me as I had been inspecting the pulled thread.
"I'll fix it," she smiled, and she did.
Later I sat drinking a cup of tea and had a think about the horrid lives that some Bentley Roof members have sunk into. My advice to Richard Vanels and the like is to get yourself a stable life. Find yourself a wife who fixes pulled threads and smiles at you when you enter the kitchen.
There's wisdom in the quietness that we have found.
There's shiny, ruby, warm goodness to a cup of tea. But it's best to drink it with a warm and happy heart.
