Regardless, given that no advantage was gained by the club (they say) an amazing ignorance
of basic business law.

JD escaped a fine for reporting it in to the Authority and LCFC were allowed a discount for pleading guilty.

Basically the club prevented fans from buying shirts cheaper than in the club shop as JD colluded to remove their usual free delivery for City kit

The shirts are a complete rip off anyway. A few pence to make in a sweat shop somewhere then massive mark up, but they know they have a captive market. Prefer my Admiral retro shirt that I do not have to replace each season.

My Mrs got me a t-shirt from the club shop a couple of years ago. It wasn't cheap and within a year it had already got a hole in.

This affair really stinks. All the endless (marketing) rhetoric we’re subject to about from the club about how they value their relationship with the fans. All whilst they have been deliberately stiffing the supporters who religiously buy the tat(I don’t touch the stuff) is cynical in the extreme.

It beggars belief that this unsavoury situation only came about as a result of the actions of a now departed bad apple or two. The club needs to be transparent about how it happened and heads should roll for those that remain who were aware of what was going on. I shan’t be hold my breath.
