We drew at Sunderland to go top of the PL. I never thought it would happen again so I took a photo of the teletext on tv! Little did I know.

Today we go top of the league albeit the championship. Let’s hope we now stay here until the end of the season

I was there 0-0 game. We all thought Tator Peeler might have something about him. Game was followed by an international break so we were top for a fortnight. Then Taylor made Beckham England's captain.

The night after the Sunderland game, I put a hundred quid behind the bar in the Royalist in Hardborough, to celebrate our rise to the summit. It was only when the landlord noticed the bewigged Akinbiyi portrait on the back of the notes that I had to scarper.

We is a strong statement. Remember the 1-0 away win at West Ham. Saying it was One sided doesn’t do it justice. We played some shocking football under him, even when results were in our favour
