The eternal pessimist
to go and the club seems far from ready for the start of the season. Few definite incomings and little time to settle any in. Cody crocked. Ndidi, Nacho, Ricardo, Praet, Castagne all rumoured to be heading out causing real uncertainty in the squad. Just two more (I think) friendliest before Coventry…….
 
Who’s the second friendly against? We’ve got Liverpool on Sunday, and who else?

We’re going to have to run with what we’ve got to start with, and hope we can make some progress while the window remains open.
 
Nothing will be settled about whos staying, going or coming in till the transfer window shuts. Hopefully we will get going at start of september.

I dont think we have another friendly when they get back from Thailand unless its at Seagrave.

Funnily enough the Artist formerly known as Aristotle (aka KP Junior) has changed his name by deed poll to Hippocrates and today is his first day as a junior doctor, working at the hospital he was born in - Leicester Royal Infirmary. The boy's done brilliantly. He'll be joining my accredited positive pill purveyor list forthwith.
 
You must be very proud, that's a wonderful achievement, hopefully he'll earn enough to buy you some razors

By the way I thought his new name was a wooden container for hippopotamo sedisse

That’s great news he will be able to afford a round in the globe at this rate. Is he going again this season?

He doesn't drink Rich. I often wonder whether he's the fruit of my loins and whether he should have a paternity test. He'll be far too busy or on strike to get back down the City alas.

Hangover from last season but so many (especially on FT) seem to wallow in the misery of it.
I'm happy with the signings we've made (hopefully Coady won't be out for 2 to 17 months) so far, 3 more in the middle of the park and we could be good to go.
I'd be happier if we didn't have the diagonals first game but they're also rebuilding and have played hardly any friendlies.
 
Last season was a fluke for Cov, they wont be anywhere close to us now theyve sold their "Star" player.
 
Feeling sort of ok about business we’ve done.
Would have liked us to have a stronger pre-season programme - suspect we might be a tad undercooked for the start although we won’t be alone.
Robins himself has said Cov are a fair way from ready - hopefully they lose Gustavo Hamer before season starts to destabilise em further.
Well and truly on the Enzo bus.. until I’m not 😉

Oh yeah I’d forgot glad he’s ok done really well I’d claim him just in case he makes his millions lol.
Yeah I see them outside the GEH striking let’s hope they get paid properly anyway

Not played anyone put plenty of spit roasting in Bangkok to get the heart rate up for the new season, be fine 👍
