Up to date manager links.

Not 'defending' (although I am entitled to do that) but simply stating my opinion that others are culpable in this mess.
And the club senior staff have to take responsibilty. To suggest that BR is soley to blame is simplistic nonsense.,,.
.I'll give it a rest wehen you learn to read

I have never suggested that BR is solely to blame

'Top' is the culprit - he owns it

Top employs people at the club who are suppose to be football people and know their job, clearly they don't.
Top employed them - it all sits with him

Top isn't Vichai and never will be - he needs to sell up and move on

Rumour is that Potter will be given the power to replace anyone.
Not doubting you, but if true that takes away one of the main points of having a DOF

I thought they were supposed to ensure the manager has less power and the club would still be able to work towards a strategy if the manager left.

Don't come on here talking sense - it wont end well

Leicester City have held talks with Dean Smith as they assess their options over appointing a new manager.

Smith had a summit meeting with chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha and Jon Rudkin, the director of football, to discuss Leicester’s relegation to the Championship and the club’s plans for the future.

While the former Aston Villa head coach was unable to prevent Leicester from dropping out of the Premier League, he has some support within the boardroom after two wins and three draws from his eight matches in charge.

Smith was asked for his views on how Leicester can mount a promotion challenge next season and it is understood talks were positive.
A week after relegation was confirmed, Leicester are now ready to initiate talks with candidates this week as they move to appoint the next permanent manager.

Aside from Smith, other contenders will be considered and Manchester City’s first-team coach Enzo Maresca has emerged as a potential target.
Maresca has earned a reputation at City as the next member of Pep Guardiola’s backroom staff who could become a No. 1 following Mikel Arteta’s move to Arsenal. Southampton wanted him earlier this year but he has been concentrating on City.

Leicester will have to wait for Maresca, 43, as he is a key part of City’s attempt to win the European Treble, with the final leg on Saturday in the Champions League final against Inter Milan.

Scott Parker, who has won Championship promotion with Fulham and Bournemouth, is also on Leicester’s radar along with Ipswich’s Kieran McKenna.

Steven Gerrard, the former Rangers and Villa manager, is also in the frame after holding talks with Leicester in April before Smith’s appointment.
On Monday night, Leicester confirmed the departures of Youri Tielemans, Caglar Soyuncu, Ayoze Perez, Tete, Ryan Bertrand, Nampalys Mendy and Daniel Amartey.

The seven players will be out of contract later this month, but negotiations are ongoing over a possible deal for Northern Ireland international Jonny Evans.

Leicester also have decisions to make on the likely transfer fees for James Maddison and Harvey Barnes, who will be sold this summer.
Maddison is a target for Tottenham and Newcastle, while Barnes is admired by Tottenham, Aston Villa and Newcastle.

Scott Parker? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Smiths 2 wins and 3 draws in his 8 games in charge, he's got excellent record in Championship with Brentford and Villa.
He was working with Prima doners that he wouldnt of signed if it had been his team. I think he did well with a team lacking confidence, with his grafter player signings we got a chance.

Irrespective of the actions or inactions of others, Rodgers had a squad more than capable of staying up. The fact that we didnt is entirely down to him imho.

I flip flop on this, only because the squad under a bare 11 was so god awful.

The opening day team sheet containing Ward, Amartey and for me KDH the biggest sign we were in trouble. The first 2 especially.

Soyuncu would have made a difference, Iversen I’m still not totally convinced about.

Iverson's display against Everton was one of the best I've seen. Still inexperienced (Kasper had how many years with us as #1 before the PL?) and think will only get better. Will be fine in the Championship, question is whether he will be a top class PL keeper - not an issue for now...

Another name on the list - Kieran McKenna - Ipswich Town

This was the quote that I read

There is no doubt that McKenna is a manager who is on the rise and will become a Premier League boss in the coming years.
McKenna walked into Ipswich at a very difficult moment and managed to get the team together and turn their fortunes around completely. There is no reason why he can’t do the same at The King Power Stadium.
McKenna is a very attack-minded coach, so he would make this Leicester team good on the eye and have the potential under his management to be the best in the division.

I like the look of this one, he's done a decent job there. However, I suspect there's going to be many more linked with us through the media, so the sooner we're put out of our misery the better.

Good shout that George

I'm not sure I trust that list.
Percy normally gets inside info but there's no mention of Potter (if only to say he isn't coming), there's also two people who are currently employed which I can't see the club leaking somehow.
Get the idea that this is a smokescreen to keep the fans happy or help push Potter into making a decision.
At this stage I'd be happy with Potter, McKenna or Maresca, McKenna's tactics are very Brendanesque.

What sideways backward.

What sideways backward.
Likes to hold the ball and bring the other team on to you and then hit with pace (how we played before all the decent players got injured).
Goalkeeper and defenders are confident on the ball so a he'd need to do a massive rebuild.

He's hardly rebuilding his reputation by going there. He'd earn 10 time waht they'd offer by staying on gardening leave with Chelsea.
Worked for Rodgers. A couple of seasons winning everything despite your coaching, and then back to the big time with a fat wedge.
