Your cheque is in the post

That is what Boris is telling the Frogs, I think this is one of the 3 biggest lies ever told. :)
Apparently not paying The French to patrol our borders while illegal immigration doubles in the last 12 months is “ taking back control and “what we voted for” .

No it is not, as you well know.

It is all you remainers fault for encouraging this government to act in this way.

We are paying them to patrol their own borders and they are failing to do so.

Consequently they get no money - fuck the French

You give us more credit than we deserve.

Their conduct over the last 2 years has shown they will do whatever they please.

Plus, you voted for them.
I am not prescient.

I voted for what they said they would do. Quite unapologetic about that.

One of these days you might have something interesting to say on the subject, perhaps not today though.

Of course it is...

It had to be that rather than the fantasy you voted for.

How democracy works in a general election.

The various parties campaign for votes by saying what they plan to do if they form the next government. They write this out in some detail, it is called a manifesto.
The people make their choice based on what has been said and written and express their political preference.
The party that is elected forms the government, it then rips up the manifesto and does as it wishes without regard to the actual wishes of the voter.
This is the voters fault.

Ok?

But you knew that and still voted for them?

Entirely interesting, because you are still on your never-ending quest of blaming “Remainers” rather than the bullshitters you actually voted for, & who had form for bullshitting prior to your vote.

And before anyone else says that all politicians bullshit, I’m sure we can all agree that Tories are the worst of the bunch.

And if the last 18 months hasn’t proved that, you’re either blind, ignorant & happy with that level of corruption.

Not really, that became apparent later. I kind of expected the odd 'fudge', but I did genuinely expect something rather better than what we got.

At the 2019 election I did still sort of consider the May government as something of an aberration, that Johnson and some of his colleagues could restore some kind of conservative common sense. I was wrong on that, but they lied to me, and all other voters too.

They were encouraged to do that because of the huge amount of pro-EU support that they were getting predominantly from the broadcast media and the political establishment. The fact that some normal, seemingly quite decent individuals went along with this 'wrecking ball' tactic is deeply disappointing.

And the quest continues.

It’s the remainers’ fault.
It’s the media’s fault.
It’s the EU’s fault.

It’s almost as if Leave voters were incapable of making their own minds up & assessing what their motivations were to explain their vote.

You are confusing two different issues again

I’m really not. This govt’s not taken responsibility for the multitude of negatives they have managed.

And now everyone else can now see it’s OK to blame something or someone else. That’s what’s happening here.

To be fair, unlikely I know, the last 18 months have been pretty exceptional.

Disaster capitalism (thanks sixthswan) at a level that has never been more extreme and more blatant. Difficult I know but turning this around will involve violence, serious violence.

Oh dear.

The motivations are and were as plain as day.

'To leave the EU and all its institutions', a promise made by the legitimate, elected prime minister of the UK.

It was a lie, and the last 5 or so years have proved it to be so. Leave voters are not at fault here.

Then point the finger at Johnson, his govt & his party.

Not Remainers.
Not the media.
Not the EU.

At least you show some level of disappointment at the situation. Considering how many Leave voters there were, they should be absolutely livid at the shambolic way things have been managed for the last 5 years by the Tories.

But hey Johnson ruffles his hair, does his blame-game schtick, & everyone thinks “He’s a lad isn’t he?”.

Did anyone listen to that speech he did at the Conference? His usual bluster & fuck-all else.

That is him. That’s what you get. That is it.

Johnson is a serious disappointment but as I you never seem to understand at the 2019 election the alternative was Corbyn, I mean seriously, Jeremy Corbyn, in Downing St, really!

The man who wanted your vote but refused point blank to tell you what his policy on Brexit actually was! That Jeremy Corbyn?

Neither did Johnson.

Strangely enough, for a process that was going to affect the whole country, anyone that had even had the smallest inclination of voting for him couldn’t be bothered to examine how he was going to deliver Brexit.

Leave voters that subsequently voted for the Tories rode the crest of his bullshit bluster.

And now we’re all drowning. In more bullshit bluster.

So how has your life changed since Brexit. How is it worse?

Encountered more racism in the last 5 years, than the previous 30.

No provocation - just people who feel more empowered to do so, adding terms/phrases that a number of Brexit cheerleaders have been happy to use publicly.

Friends & family that no longer feel welcome in a country that many were born in, &/or have contributed so much to.

All because some conflated Brexit with a superiority complex.

No.

It has nothing to do with Brexit. it is pushback against the woke anti-white agenda that has been shoved down peoples throats in recent years. People who have never behaves that way in the past are now of the view that if I am going to be accused and treated as a racist on a daily basis, I just might as well behave like one.

Of course. People that are parroting & directly quoting Brexit cheerleaders & feeling empowered, using this to display their racist thoughts & feelings, has nothing to do with Brexit.

If you can’t see that the Brexit process has facilitated that, then you are even more ignorant than I thought.

Deflect & deny yet again. Voted Tory, act like a Tory.

How do you “behave like” a racist ?

I sorry to hear that you and your family have suffered increased levels of racism. I am interested to hear what form this has taken. Perhaps you could share some examples please?

Morning Mm.

You posted anecdotal evidence from your perspective.

It does not relate to my lived experience so I thought I would offer an alternate viewpoint that is very much in line with what I have seen around me. It reflects the views of people around me who are rather bored with the anti-white agenda.

And, of course another dig at my voting record. You really do not have anything else do you?
How do you “behave like” a racist ?
Morning Fg, up bright and early I see.

Rather odd terminology I agree, but I would say something like the kind of reaction the ordinary people have to incessant promotion of the anti white agenda. For a lot of people it does not really trouble them but they do see it and occasionally react to it in ways that are not, to my mind serious, but could by some be seen as racism.

"Paki"
"Fucking gupta"
"Your lot have just invaded this country...we're taking back control"
"Go back to where you came from"
"Your sort aren't needed here any more - we're getting our country back"
"But you're not REALLY British, are you?"
As a fluent Gujerati speaker, on a train a few years back speaking to a colleague of mine from India (his English is good, it's just easier & quicker to converse in Gujerati sometimes, or even drop a word into a conversation that makes more sense in that language), an oaf approached us & said "We speak English around here - you heard of Brexit?".

It reflects the views of people around me who are rather bored with the anti-white agenda.
That makes it OK for them to be racist then? Right.
And, of course another dig at my voting record. You really do not have anything else do you?
Stop acting like a Tory then. You sound like the sort that might watch the news - when a Tory cabinet minister gets asked a question holding them to account, you are a guaranteed a 'deny & deflect'.
