First I'd say look at the bilderberg crew and their hangers on. The Global elite.
It's no cover up. Anyone who knows how the banking systems work will understand that the debt, all this money borrowed was created out of nothing.
So they have two options.
Carry on with no payback or prop up the system by making us pay the debt back for their own profit

What makes you think that they exist?
Ever seen a highly-rated news agency refuse to report on them?
If so, for how long?
Ever heard of a top-level leader attend one of their meetings, but refuse to tell his parliament what was discussed?
Come on tinhatter.
 
Well, all major new outlets have reported on the bilderberg group meetings over the last few years. Took their time but eventually couldn't ignore it.
I've seen Billy Clinton leave a bilderberg group meeting in my own eyes, in the flesh so to speak (but oddly enough now not listed as one of the participants)
Numerous British serving and retired politicians have attended while not declaring their interests to parliament.
All meetings are secretive with no official agenda just a high level discussion brief.
You only have to look at its history to realise it's no ordinary think tank, participants from royalty to business to governments.
 
Guess the only positive is that it beats a proper war to create debt.
Just a pity that the majority of us accept that that's the way it has to be.

What was it? About 50 years of non-reporting on the Bilderberg get togethers. Something like that.
So you saw Clinton, but that wasn't reported either. Funny thing this non-reporting and being deliberately kept in the dark.
But you are tricky. I thought you'd cite our ex-PM and his recorded refusal to inform the House of Commons what he discussed with this powerful, inter-connected, global gathering of decision makers.

But I do take your point. The admission of its existence is largely down to one guy. Can't remember his name but he spent a number of years turning up outside these meetings and filming the "great and good" as they entered and exited the meetings. Of course they were all in denial that anything was going on But as he gained more evidence the main stream news had to pick up on it with the usually angle of it's those nasty conspiracy theory kids.
But at least it was out in the open.
You only have to look at this site to understand how they got away with it for so long. Most of the posters on here would be saying it was a load of crap because the BBC hadn't reported on it (they know who they are) and they're the same people who see no wrong in what takes place.
Then folk like Rino who's only contribution to the discussion would be a tit or gay joke. Ooo matron! Anything else goes way way way above his head. (Like most things.
You have to strip it back, layer by layer and see what you're left with.
Democratically elected people, servants of their electorate, meeting in secret to discuss something in secret with no accountability which could affect the very people that elected them and failing to being honest and open regarding discussions that have taken place.
While certainly no mandates are put forward the one thing that is certain is global common goals are discussed and pushed in an attempt to influence governments businesses, charity funding and numerous other ways to push their global agenda.

Nah.... don't say that, there are too many there from different tribes. Not to mention those heads of world organisations and global corporations that met up with them in secret for over half a century. No, no. That's just not possible.

I like to think that there's one group that are 'wishy-washy' bad, who might be 'the establishment'. And they blame everything on this other group called the 'liberal elite', you know... just so that they can fool the plebs, who are, let's face it, idiots. And they fool the plebs, just so that they can beat the 'left' in meaningful elections/referendums, albeit after the 'right' have bamboozled the plebs, (with help from Russians), to make sure that the 'right' win. But it's okay, because the 'left/liberals' are going to win, because they're good and would never 'secretly' get involved with the 'right', and take the dollar, and the perks, and the power, and the influence, and keep the whole game going.... And after all, we have all of those liberal structures that have been set up to ensure that we have full information on any secret, global group that might want to be out of any democratic control and accountability and...

Well obviously you two are in the know and are the only ones on here who have heard of the Bilderberg Group.
 
I was told years ago that unless you were a member of Bilderberg group you could not become Prime minister, The group is not really a secret anymore. Things are moving so fast now they really do not care about what we know, if you believe that we have closed the world down because of a flu virus then your in for a big shock in the next few years. I am not going to argue on here just do your research if your interested.

I read Denis Healey's autobiography many years ago. It was obvious from reading that there was an attempt, at a high-level, by groups of people in structuring the world, its economy, its culture, and building power blocks to maintain their hold on it all. (Hardly surprising, is it? It's what people do.) Denis was certain that they were doing it for the benefit of mankind, and I was sure that he admitted being a member of Bilderbeg in his book, but I couldn't remember the exact name of the group. (Looking at that trove of information linked by RVL recently, there was Denis Healey listed as having attended the group.) I have no idea why Bilderberg was failed to be reported on, and journalists were deported from countries for trying to report on it, while someone like Healey just blurted it out 15 odd years later. I don't think I'd ever heard of the group before his book.

Looking at Healey's opinion, and assuming that he was a good person, which I tend to do, I think that there would be levels above 'attendee level' that he wouldn't be party to. And... How would anyone who attends a few meetings get to know the full, long-term agenda?

With Bilderberg, I suppose you can take your pick of many possibilities, and you can choose to believe, like Healey suggested, that it's a positive group for us all. (Irrespective that they meet in secret and refuse transparency.)

Personally, I doubt it very much.
 
As RVL put it...

...with exceedingly rich, powerful and non-democratically elected people, who clearly get off on strengthening and extending their grasp.
