Yesterdays game

Yes Brighton missed some serious sitters & should have been well out of sight, mainly to do with one of the worse half’s of football from a professional player ( I know there’s competition) in okoli I’ve ever seen.
El khannnouss was absolutely brilliant & I suppose it’s going to be a club like Brighton who are putting bids in for him come the summer. Just pray to god that top gets his head out his arse & gets a competent dof in before we sell him.
Mavadidi wasn’t too far behind el khannouss & it was bizarre, yet unsurprising that the clown ruud took him off when he had been causing Brighton loads of trouble to replace him with the pointless bdcr.
Other players:- Thomas is keen, very keen but he is desperate to have coaches worthy of the name working with him because he is on the wrong side of his man time & time again.
Ndidi was shocking again. Trying to do things that he’s never been capable of doing on a pitch. Soumare grew into the game & broke forward with some decent runs in that 2nd half.
Vardy wasn’t in the game at all but to be fair he was given nothing in that 1st half except balls booted in the air which dunk would win all day long.
Daka & skipp put a shift in when they came on but daka missed his golden chance that came his way as you’d expect.
& in conclusion we have a manager who most importantly is incompetent at the job he is paid to do, but also didn’t feel he should have given any acknowledgment to fans who’d travelled a bloody long way to watch a meaningless game.

Mavadidi will often give you a decent first half but fades after that. A sixty minute player.
I will miss Billy's quality which will see him go to a properly organised club sooner rather the later.
Wilf and Soumare aren't a fit...
Difficult to see the point of giving a run to the young lad seconds before the end..

Totally agree with what you say about mavadidi, however yesterday during that last 20 minutes or so he & el khannouss were still on it & we had Brighton well penned back.

Played a team with a make shift back four and 10 players ruled out
Defending comical for first 45 minutes
Facts are we don’t score or get a point next Sunday then will take us to nearly
five months at home without a goal or point
That is like Cooper starting the season in August and going into January without
a point or goal at home
The board are culpable in allowing this to happen

Pretty much agree with that. On the Okoli thing I do feel for the lad, he has been stuck on the bench watching so called "Senior Pros" cock things up week after week, he's then thrown in to the side presumably at the last minute after sideshow Bob is declared unfit (that's unfit physically as opposed to unfit to wear the shirt unfortunately). The lad has a nightmare first 15 minutes probably as a result of trying too hard. In fairness to him he did recover and did ok in the second half (even scoring !!). I think, like Thomas, he needs some serious coaching on the arts of defending in English football.

As for Soumare, yes he had a couple of decent runs, but isn't that his job? In my opinion he's still an idle f**ker and a few minutes of positivity over 80 plus games isn't cutting it with me.

Nor me. My mam had a saying: 'he's not got a rush in him'
It's like he's thinking 'why can't they play at the pace I am comfortable with'
Just one of the overpriced and overrated incomings which see us where we are today.
I see in the Ob today that Graham Potter has inherited a similar shit show at West Ham, lumbered with a lot of below par and pricey players and wondering where to start sorting it out. At least he will likely sort it which our current man never will.

Can’t disagree with that, but when crumbs are the only thing you’ve been offered after months of bare cupboards, crumbs is all I can lap up.
