Wrighty sums it up......

Speaking about Leicester’s demise this season, Wright said: “When you look at [Brendan] Rodgers and the way the season was going and did they take too long [to sack him].

“When you look back and read some of the articles where people are saying that Rodgers is only there because Leicester can’t actually afford to pay him off if they sacked him.

“You looked at the way they played, you looked at his demeanour in interviews, you look at the lack of intensity and fight and drive in the players in certain games.

“The lack of organisation, everything was missing from a manager of that calibre, that probably had something to do with it.

“He was in a place where he wanted to leave, they probably wanted him to leave, but it didn’t work out financially well for either of them. So, they’re together for all the wrong reasons

Although a lot of the media are trying hard, I trust Rodgers' essentially destructive behaviour will not have gone entirely unnoticed. Future employer will look at this, and he has harmed not only us but his career as well! It's only a small consolation but better than nothing!

He WILL be linked to our relegation, and rightly so!

spot on. thanks for posting.

“A manager of that calibre “?
I’m still baffled where this label comes from. You can’t count anything he did in that Scottish league. It carries no weight at all once you move into professional football leagues.

As much as Wrighty has been a champion of us for the last 7-odd years, isn't his "manager of that calibre" comment the typically lazy cliched comment from a pundit that hasn't got or had the time to look into the intricacies of the problem?

Aside from Watford, Liverpool & now Leicester fans, unfortunately I'd conclude that most fans, never mind pundits, still see him as a 'high calibre manager'.

Give it time. His castle is starting to crumble. He won’t get the Spurs job and Chelsea has gone. Where will the mighty Rogers find an “elite” club in England?
