You can work as hard as you fucking like, but, if you can't play football to PL level then you can't play football to PL level. "Confidence" has nothing to do with it with some of them, they're just rubbish. The only area where "confidence" comes in to it is that the decent players we have, have lost all "confidence" in the dross that they're expected to play with week in, week out. This results in heads dropping and a massive lack of effort.

But unfortunately Rodgers seems to have every "confidence" in the dross and that will be our downfall.

I can’t think of anyone in football that could restore the situation, don’t forget this is not something that’s turned sour overnight…… this is the culmination of four years of Rodgers
 
When you've a got a goalie that leaves his near post wide open, a pair of central defenders that can't read the game as well as the average 12 year old, and a midfielder who fucks up a tap in from 4 yards out, i would suggest you aint working that hard.
