Wolves new manager

nuno going to palace by all accounts, which seems strange. a sideways (if not backwards) step for him, especially after one of the reasons given for wolves departure was to spend more time with his family in portugal.
i know this seasons wasn't up to much (though losing jimenez was a huge blow), but from the outside he seemed to do a terrific job at wolves, i thought he would end up somewhere a bit higher than palace.

The Dingles are fucking idiots. Another club whose fans think they have a divine right to be in the top division because they won some stuff 60 years ago.

I've spoken to loads of them who reckon Nuno had them playing the best football they've seen for 40 years. One below average season and loads of them were calling for him to be sacked. They don't seem to understand that just because the owners of the club are rich, they can't just buy every player who takes their fancy, they were moaning about lack of transfers to improve the squad. Be careful what you wish for.

According to my source, Nuno was forced out by Fosun. The 'mutual agreement' is just a cover story.

It’s totally strange that he’s gone under the auspices of wanting to go back to Portugal yet days later is after other PL jobs

That applies to the vast majority of clubs, especially those higher up the league pyramid.
Plenty on here as well expressing this season that Brendan should go.
If you can't satisfy fans after having arguably the best season outside of the title winning year, then we are in bother.

Everton are a big club with tradition and loyal support, he could be the bloke to tap into that and take them forwards. If he was forced out/sacked by the yam yams that really is crazy
