No he isn’t. He has no reading of a football match at all, that’s why you & I have only ever seen him doing Sunday league desperation lunging slide tackles his whole career which get the brain dead on their feet fist pumping followed by 🎼he’s one of our own🎼 .
Choudhury will be in league 1 with us next year which will get him one step closer to his level. If winks had some more time on his contract with us no way would he be playing at that level next year because he is no where near that bad.
Calling choudhury a dm is like calling patson a striker.

Unbelievable. Are you even watching? He hasn’t been playing.
We have created very little the majority of the season. The 2nd half yesterday some of the build up play was quite positive especially being a man down we were getting through Charlton a fair few times & that was due to having a midfielder who continuously is on the move, however the football club not having a striker on the books is a major bollock.

I’ve no doubt we would have been paying part of his wages at both sheff and Watford.
We then gave him a new contract, most clubs ain’t daft enough to pay his full wage and why should Hamadan leave if we are daft enough to overpay him?

You and I haven't seen that (only you). I feel that most anti-Hamza posts are race fuelled but I'll leave that subject alone. Hamza is the best DM at Leicester. Winks can't defend but is put in that position because he can't attack either.

If we go down, Hamza will be purchased by a Championship team.

Have you been watching when he has been playing? A major reason that we keep conceding and losing. No cover for the CBs at all. Even yesterday - it was 0-0 when he came on and 2-0 by half time.

What a crock of bollocks. Race fuelled my arse. He is shit, end of. We’ve tried to palm him off twice, but no one was daft enough. He does nothing well.

And we've given him multiple contracts each better than the previous one. He's an energy player who presses well and defends well. He's a championship level player who we were happy to sell when we were a Premier league team with N'Didi as our DM. Now he's our captain.

Oh, you mean the exact same thing that’s been happening when winks had been sitting at home. That wouldn’t be pointing towards having anything to do with the shit coaching set up would it.

Hear what you say about Hamza being a defensive midfielder (agree) - but he’s been very poor at that tbh - it’s only recently Skipp has improved significantly and he’s injured - so we don’t have many options creatively in the middle of the park. I remember Mr Wise, so your comment on what I think about him couldn’t be further from the truth.

Not sure I agree with that.

I think he’s fairly ordinary in the heart of midfield. My view is that his strength is that of an old style inside forward.

He’s far better going forward and searching out goal scoring opportunities. In fact we probably don’t have anyone else in our midfield (other than Reid to a limited extent) who can do that.
 
Forget Winks we need mobility and craft in those midfield areas he has since signing lost pace a plenty, one of the things that our former manager saw but failed to grasp an answer.
Mobility is the key to midfield play. We lost out on that issue since Marescu left
