Wingers

Abdul took defenders on regularly at the start of the season. He stopped that around a dozen/ fifteen games into the season & all he does now is cut back in & cross it to the back post where mavididi is around 5% of the time, so normally it gets swallowed up by the keeper or goes straight out. The other times he aims for the keepers top right hand corner which so far has come off twice nigh on an entire season.
Defensively he works his row out & is very effective in his duties helping out, with the odd slack back pass which you can forgive him for due to his graft.
Mavididi is useless defensively. He may as well stay up top out the way due to being more a hindrance than a help. Yesterday it was embarrassing how bad he was in his defensive duties.
Going forward he’s one of those players that you know within 10 minutes if he’s going to have an effective game or the defender has him in his pocket. How he stayed on the pitch for the entire game yesterday was baffling (again) Especially that 1st half when everyone of our midfielders seemed to be looking to pass to him & every move just petered out because he repeatedly tried the same ineffective stepovers. It’s horrible & boring & bloody frustrating to watch.
How albrighton doesn’t get any time at all is just plain wrong.

they have both stopped going outside, Mavididi thinks the only way to beat a player is to go through the middle of two of them.

Hes also decided that he must show off by using his outside of is foot all the time as its become recently fashionable.

Fatty wants curl every shot with his left.

Its as if they have decided there is only one way to do everything.

A big point for me is the unbalance on our left, Justin is a wing back, KDH's best work is overlapping and Maviddi is an out and out winger. Two can work together, never the three.
