Why do Sky Sports say

Because they are obsessed with the PL, and only pay any attention to the league as a receptacle for PL failures, and as a feeder league for the next PL whipping boys? They never seem to care much about it unless they're trying to pretend that BT aren't showing a PL game at the same time. MInd you, can't really blame them, as it's mostly pretty poor fodder...
Because if Leeds and Ipswich win all their remaining games then winning both of our remaining games guarantee promotion.

Leeds can win both their last games as many times as they like, if we win just one of our last 2 we'll still be going up.

Leeds are 4 points behind us and we both have 2 games to play so we only need one win. Duh!
Winning one of the remaining games guarantees Leicester will finish as champions unless Ipswich win their 3 remaining games, or win 2 and draw 1 and overhaul a 15 goal difference, which seems unlikely.
Edit: Sorry got that wrong. If Ipswich win 2 and draw 1 that is only 7 points so they would finish on 96 points and a win would leave us on 97 points so I am talking blx.
GD only comes inot play if we draw our remaining 2 games and finish on 96 points.

I think Leeds will win tonight.
We will win on Monday by a few goals and we’ll wrap up the league win next Saturday.

We may only need two draws to guarantee promotion, even if Leeds win both remaining games.
They are 4 points behind us, their GD is 4 worse than ours, and they have scored 6 fewer goals.
So if we draw say 1-1 and 1-1, and Leeds win 3-2 and 3-0, we would still go up on 2 more goals scored, with the GDs level. Would make the final match of the season pretty tense though !
That second half blitz against the Saints could still prove valuable in the end
If we end up level on points with Leeds, and with the same GD and goals scored, they would finish above us because of their superior head to head record
