Why do folk laugh at flat earthers,

DagenhamFox

Blue Roofer
I don’t laugh at either. I just find it very strange that even though you can travel all the way around the world that some say the earth is flat but if they want to believe it’s of not concern to me.

You can’t see a god so you either choose to believe the stories or not.

You're right Dagenham. But so many flat earthers and God squad types never shut up about their beliefs.
Can't they just be crazy quietly? Oh and the God ones. Stop killing people please...

But believe in God?
Good question.
I think it's because of our capacity for logic, the limits of our senses, and also the personal interpretation of what we sense, plus our capacity to think creatively.... Then all that combined with our need for 'the other', 'bigger', 'more interesting' reality.

What I'm trying to say is, although I love the beauty of flat-earth thinking...

Logically we know the world is round, and stretching the creativity to make it flat.... is a stretch too far. (The science is too powerful)

With God. Yes, it may seem odd, but logically, we also know that we don't know how/why life happened/was created etc. For many of us, God's always been an obvious one to go with. (Science just can't answer these questions)

Logically we know the world is round but equally logically we know god doesn’t exist. It’s about conditioning

Probably, nowadays, yes. But for thousands of years it was logical to think that the God did this and the earth is flat. I'm saying that science has done the flat earth, but not the history of creatiion.

a subject l stay well away from, l have no opinion either way. l don't think there's a rule where you have too is there. I'm an obsessive so if l started l couldn't stop. As for God, thats another thing. Who knows if there is or isn't, what l do know is that there are infinite amount of things we can't see or touch or have a clue about understanding. I've had so many mental things happen to me to not have an open mind. I think the thought of there being a God is wide open, what do we call God, what is it or who is it. I don't feel its the biblical way because the bible as been seriously tampered with and big things taken out. Its all to do with what you think God is, some say its within us, how do you explain Ether, how do you explain Rife, how do you explain the 100th monkey ?

I'm quite interested in gematria and why numbers that they say have meanings have been changed and hidden from us. 666 is 18 and in Hebrew means life, 13 also in Hebrew means love, these numbers have been changed to satanic numbers, the curious thing that makes if fascinating for me is why? Phi is also amazing really, and so is the God Ratio. They all work to important frequencies and measurements, why have they changed popular music from 440hz to 432hz when its said that 440hz is a healing frequency. The interesting thing is why are these hidden and changed ?

l read a fair bit about these, I've not got the answers, but my mind opens up more and more as l go into them.

the flat earths have a lot of reasons for them believing it is, and we can't answer them. How a spinning ball holds on to all that water, you can't replicate it if its real !

I actually met one those flat earther Muppets once when on holiday in Mexico. Had great delight in asking him to explain the obvious curvature in the earth that was so very apparent over the horizon.
it was a sort of VAR feeling. I'm right your wrong. 😁

In terms of size, yeah, of course, but shape?
The diagram is designed to poke fun at the flat earthers. The person who came up with it is showing each planet as a sphere and the earth as a square and each planet has an orbit going around the earth. I don’t know but I reckon flat earthers don’t believe any of those factors.
It’s like drawing a turd on someone’s head and then say haha you’ve got a turd on your head.
None of it really works as a piss take of flat earthers beliefs.
