Who's shaking the jar?

The power elites use whatever works to control the people. Right now that is political and social marxism which is being used to break up western society, plenty of political and social division being spread so that there is no organised resistance.

Their vision is a pure fascist state, to quote Benitio... "everything in the state, nothing against the state, nothing outside the state".

What is ironic is that this will be achieved by the methods of hard left marxism, to create a society that was originally classified as right wing.
Not sure it's as simple as that. Although I agree the elite or whatever label you want to put on them are using the Marxist argument to divide and stifle debate (Tommy Robinson Katy Hopkins David Icke etc etc) but in the 80's they smashed the Marxist ideology with full support of the right wing thinkers and don't forget they brought down Corbyn with utter bullshit as they saw him as a threat. Possible Trump too. They will use whatever means possible to ensure the masses don't unite and we let them.

Of course it is not that simple, as I said earlier, these people are not like us, I doubt that we have any real idea of their motives and what they are prepared to do to achieve their ends.

Marxism was hardly smashed in the 80's, at the highest level it was held back a little in this country by Thatcherism but it took control over much of Europe. Even then the schools and universities in the uk were being taken over marxists which was instrumental in pushing this country so far to the left.

Corbyn and the Labour Party failed, simply by being inept, without the muslim vote they would have been wiped out. In reality it did not matter either way, we are 'governed' by the 'LibLabCon', a left of centre conglomerate and defacto one party state.

Held back is a bit of an understatement. The Anti trade union legislation introduced were a bit more than holding it back. (The Labour Party failing to repeal those laws in the nineties)
Sending Liverpool councillors to prison (twice) was a bit more than holding it back.
Sending union area organisers to prison on trumped up charges was more then holding it back.
It's almost like the wheel has turned full circle. Now we have legislation to ban "hate speech" send right leaning activists to prison.
Back in the 80's the right wing loved it, now the left wing love it.
While the elitists loved it back then and now.
Regardless of yours or mine opinion of Corbyn / labour policy the msn, the elite and his own centrists done a proper job on him.

We clearly view things from a different perspective, the wheel turning is definitely true though.

The big difference to me is that the left have been prepared to take a very long view, many think that the shift to the left started with Blair but it started long before that. The 'long march through the institutions' may seem a very trite term now, but is is real and has been very effective.

Corbyn/Labour policy was designed to appeal to the hard left, pointing this out, was hardly doing 'a proper job on him'. True believers in this country have always been relatively few in number, though often very loud.
