Which team would you rather watch

Bloomfields '70's side or Rodgers current one ?

Just curious as Rodgers team will win more but Bloomfields was fantastic to watch, its the difference between results and entertainment l guess.

I think being honest I'd rather have results, but would like a bit of bravery in the game plane and a bit of individual flare being encouraged.

The other question would be who in the 70’s would get into this side. I’d definitely have Weller on one side and Lenny on the other. But who do you pick up front. Frankie or Jamie? Definitely Shilton in goal and Whitworth for me at right back with JJ on the left.
Alan Woolett fighting it out on the subs bench with Amartey!

Difficult because of teenage years, rose tinted cheap Woolies specs and not much captured on camera.
When Rodgers allows it we look like we can smash anyone. When we take an early lead and then the instruction is to drop back, play sideways and backwards to protect it we can lose to anyone.
Rodgers tactics are frustrating, Bloomfield's were very exciting to a kid in the 70's when the world was much smaller.

I can (vaguely) remember some dreadful performances from Bloomfields time - but I was 14, had my life in front of me, looking forward to the day some bird would let me stick my ’thing’ in her ‘thing’ - life was good (for me), wore blue tinted specs, LCFC could do no wrong, didn’t read endless shyte put up by bored, middle aged shit stirrers who had ’a mate’ who‘s mum knew a old lady whose daughter worked in a cafe where a few City players had a cup of tea after training, where she mis-heared that such-and-such had met with a man in sheepskin coat on a street corner to talk about moving to the big smoke to play for a glamour club.

He is totally incapable of a Plan B
It's not just now and again, it's a constant failing. How much is he paid? Why? Fatigue is just the latest pathetic excuse for his mismanagement of a decent squad.
