It depends on how big a part football plays in your lifeI've survived 9 relegations so far since my first one in 1969.
Another one will make 10.
Nothing special.

Nobody is saying you do. All true fans support their club whatever league the club is inI don't support them any less because they are not in the Premier League.
Bang on ,I’ve made mind up I’m ready to finish ssn tkt as can’t stand the clubs snidely ways but if we do go down I’ll be tempted to stay at it especially if a new regime came in with ideas that appeal to me ie they know true football supporters mindsets. Ps soho was thinking last night only relegation that I felt was a magic season to follow the lads home n away in my time was 80 81 as they had a real go ,but what was 68 69 like as we wearnt a bad unit from reading down years. 5 year before my addiction started ie just a pup.I've survived 9 relegations so far since my first one in 1969.

Easy to dismiss as ‘no problem’ or even irrelevant if your life is enriched with a close family, good friends, hobbies, and good health.
For some, their football team is everything.
Brightening dark days when being able to celebrate successes, and providing something to look forward to when the team is in better form.
The joys of Leicester City’s successes in the recent past have played a big part in helping people through hard times and especially some with poor health.
Relegation can be a real kick in the teeth for some, but as you say, for others ‘what’s the problem’
Last thing we need is another relegation.I've survived 9 relegations so far since my first one in 1969.

Wtf you on about!!!!!!!I’m with George on this
And if your football club is all you have in your life, without wishing to sound callous, 2 things
One a bit of suffering on the football front will enrich your experience surely? And two, wtf? Join the library, volunteer somewhere, join a club or summat
I agree but under the present company it looks more dire than at anytime recentlyWell you can ask that every time there's a relegation.
How many times do I have to say that thankfully short episode was a a complete embarrassment for a club of our history never having sunk to those depths before. Thanks to NP for getting us out of it.I don't support them any less because they are not in the Premier League.
In fact one of the best seasons I've ever enjoyed was the season we were in League One. Everything about that season was a blast.
You only started supporting our club in 1966. By that time I had seen them in two FA Cup finals and two League Cup finals winning one. Also saw a number of our players winning International caps in the days when they were very hard to get. Gordon Banks, Davie Gibson, Frank McLintock, Derek Dougan, Ken Leek, Jackie Sinclair. After that, If you think sinking to Div 3 is a blast you must have a strange sense of history.I've survived 9 relegations so far since my first one in 1969.

As I said, getting straight back was down to NP. I only went to one away game that season at Peterborough and we lost. Even if we had won I wouldn't have felt elated. Just like when Man U got relegated in 74. With their history winning Div 2 was no great achievement for them and they sheepishly paraded the trophy. If you got your kicks from visiting dumps like Colchester and Southend then bully for you. My first away games were at cathedrals like Hillsborough, Old Trafford, Goodison and AnfieldIt wasn't "sinking to Div 3" that was a blast.
It was the way we dealt with it once the season started. It was the days out we had at entirely new venues in entirely new towns or cities like Orient away, MK Dons away, Colchester away, Northampton away and last but the best Southend away.
Not to mention Cheltenham to see Bruin (God Bless him) get slung out by OB.
I'll never forget that season even though we should never have been in that situation. I loved the way we dealt with it.
Interesting point. They had fallen a long way from grace. Much further than us. Can't say I cared after the FA Cup losses to them in the 60s. Paul Dickov is a hero to them though.I don't suppose many Man City fans give a tupenny toss about spending a couple of seasons in League One back in the 1990's.
Colchester was, that was a right dump. Only one toilet and you had to queue for about 20 minutes to use it.Didn't think Colchester or Southend were dumps. Far from it.
