What the fuck has happened to this country?

Wasn’t working last night but went in to carry out a couple of investigations. Wrapped up by 10pm. On the way home I pass a burning vehicle in the opposite lane of M6. Probably around 6 miles from the next junction. No sign of any emergency vehicles going that way towards the incident. Then this morning my wife gets home and says she’s just spent an hour with a patient waiting for and ambulance as they were having a heart attack. Waiting one fucking hour!
Blame who or what you like but the truth is it’s our fault for allowing it to happen and putting up with this shit.
Too busy arguing with each other and watching sky sports soccer Saturday (or loose women as it’s become)
 
A burning vehicle that you didn't see any emergency vehicles attend for a few minutes? Did you call 999?

That ambulance wait time is shocking!

There was a lorry stopped in front of it. I could see the driver on his phone. Granted it must have happened a minute or two before I got there but in the past emergency services don’t piss about. Traffic was moving past the vehicle so I guess they had more urgent calls to attend. It just seems to me that this country isn’t the country I thought it was when I was younger. It’s like no one gives a shit anymore
