I think his demise has been hastened by Rodgers, he seems to have lost his aggression and fight as well as his sharpness maybe that will improve now.
the general rule of thumb is you lose a yard of pace every ten years. The problem for him sadly is he doesn't seem to have plan b to alter his style to match his age. he could be a poacher in the 18 yard box, but he still seems to play on a defenders shoulder as if he'll beat him for pace with a ball over the top. he hasn't done that in 2.5 years (according to a stat i heard earlier in the season).Once youve lost it you cant get it back, not at 36. But yes, I agree that BR has contributed to his 'premature' demise.
you're not wrong.‘the general rule of thumb is you lose a yard of pace every ten years’.
That means Josh Lowe was over 2000 years old.
I’ve changed my mind. He’s finished.I still think he’s got more goals in him if they play to his strengths. Certainly more than Daka and possibly Nacho
how many will he score in ther championship ?
I would not be surprised to see JV retire at the end of the season.how many will he score in ther championship ?
Agreed . He had that look about him when he was subbed off, like he was taking it all in.I would not be surprised to see JV retire at the end of the season.
