Which jews are in charge then?
Yeah man, like a protection racket i tell ya.. let’s go a fuck up a Tesla to show just how angry we are..It should come as no surprise that a man who befriended mafia crime families should use their tactics in business. He's doing tariffs like a protection racket shakedown. He's already got 4 domestic law firms to fold like a cheap suit and offer him free legal work by threatening to put them out of business.
Don't need to. Owners are returning them in record numbers. Why do you think trump did free car advert in front of the Whitehouse for him? They'll be gathering dust in a parking lot somewhere like DeLoreans in the 1980s.Yeah man, like a protection racket i tell ya.. let’s go a fuck up a Tesla to show just how angry we are..
Google is your friend. Alternatively, give Bnet a ring. The Whooooooooooo?
Yeah man, when are we starting on the Volkswagon Beatles then?Don't need to. Owners are returning them in record numbers. Why do you think trump did free car advert in front of the Whitehouse for him? They'll be gathering dust in a parking lot somewhere like DeLoreans in the 1980s.
You tell me. it was known as the kdf wagen when the nazis prototyped it. wasn't called the Beatle (sic) until after the war. What about Hugo Boss or Ford too?Yeah man, when are we starting on the Volkswagon Beatles then?
Yeah when you gonna start attacking the real Nazis, and not your make believe baddie Nazi poster boy..You tell me. it was known as the kdf wagen when the nazis prototyped it. wasn't called the Beatle (sic) until after the war. What about Hugo Boss or Ford too?
He's not encouraging americans to buy american. if you don't make something or grow something domestically you can't buy them even if the cost of importing them goes up can you?I know absolutely fack all about economics. But, the ethos of Trumps attempt to encourage Americans to buy American manufactured shit, appeals to me. Surely, good for the planet? Not lugging said shit , all over the world? And the bit about Europe letting the US pay for their defence has been a long time embarrassment.
You think that because it suits your politics. Let's sit back and see what happens. We buy fuck all from America anyway, so why you bothered? He's not encouraging americans to buy american. if you don't make something or grow something domestically you can't buy them even if the cost of importing them goes up can you?
As What? said, it would take years (as many experts have said) to ramp up production or clear acreage to grow stuff.
It's just a shakedown.
You’re absolutely right - best to go golfing…You think that because it suits your politics. Let's sit back and see what happens. We buy fuck all from America anyway, so why you bothered?
Smug retort, well done, good boy..You’re absolutely right - best to go golfing…
It's the selling that's the problem. We buy fuck all from America anyway,
if they pay 10%, only seems right that we should pay te same in return..It's the selling that's the problem.
I work for a company that sells parts to JLR, BMW and Merc...all of whom export into America. No doubt we'll take a hit.
Because i live there and it's going to cost me an extra $5k a year. You think that because it suits your politics. Let's sit back and see what happens. We buy fuck all from America anyway, so why you bothered?
Not sure I follow? We don't pay anything, it's the Americans that have to pay it.if they pay 10%, only seems right that we should pay te same in return..
Don't we have a 10% tariff? Not sure I follow? We don't pay anything, it's the Americans that have to pay it.
As I understand it the US (and I think this precedes the present administration) is concerned with the treatment of the US agricultural sector, not so much a tariff issue as a regulatory one (i.e. banned substances etc). There is a 25% tariff on cars exported from UK to US. There is a 10% tariff on cars exported the other way, although the market is tiny (how many people do you know who drive America cars...they are too big for our car parks!!)
There is a 10% tariff on everything else exported from UK to US. Gong the other way there are variable tariffs on other stuff coming from US to UK, but I read they are pretty low.
The one "tariff" that does seem to annoy trump is our flat rate 20% VAT but that applies to everything, not just US products.
Yes they want the lowest and cheapest common denominator. As I understand it the US (and I think this precedes the present administration) is concerned with the treatment of the US agricultural sector, not so much a tariff issue as a regulatory one (i.e. banned substances etc).
