This week I have mainly been watching

Becoming Led Zeppelin, found it on Sky Documentaries,,,, some great early footage of the band, brought back some great memories.

Enjoyed it but it wasn’t particularly factual.
I usually enjoy history dramas but couldn't get into this. Watched the first episode and snippets. Perhaps I should have given it more time. I think your point over the facts was a factor. The production was rather dark and gloomy. I read it was made in Iceland and therefore the look was not right. The final personal combat between William and Harold. Don't recall that as a fact?

I'm inclined to think that they had the year of the invaion, the names of 'some' of the characters and the final outcome correct.
The rest isn't factual, names and timeframes were rejigged somewhat.

Edward the Confessor didn’t beat his mother,Emma of Normandy,to death with his crown as the erroneously graphic scene ā€˜suggested’. She was banished (retired) to Winchester for the last 10 years of her life and died in 1052.
Edwards wife Edith was a much more ā€œMachiavellianā€ influence on the King. Edward died without leaving any natural heirs. Probably too pious to ā€œget it upā€!
