This week I have mainly been listening to….

70's classic rock mainly + 50's and 60's Blues and on vinyl too..recently dusted off my old hi fi system circa 1970/80..forgotten how good it sounded 🤘

The Crystal Teardrop. Stumbled across them when You Tube promoted a link to a video. Hadnt heard of them before so had a listen and liked them. Debut album just released this week. 60s Psychedelia vibe.

I've been listening to 1‐2‐3‐4! Punk & New Wave 1976–1979 compilation in the car and a Linton Kwesi Johnson bootleg from 1980 at home.

Steve Earle (not that one) Guitar Town and Copperhead Road. Don’t normally go for Americana but really enjoyed these two albums

The Skids, Buzzcocks (give it up lads) and the Stranglers in Warwick on Friday and ELO in Birmingham on Saturday.

PiL in Leicester last week followed up by Bill Callahan at the Brudenell last night - a fantastic small (400) venue, but shame it's in Leeds!

I saw Stereophonics at Shepherds Bush Empire in that weird time post Covid play their JEEP album in full. It was rammed downstairs. It was excellent to see them play such a small venue.
Yep. I saw Kelly Jones “solo” gig in a small venue. He had a cracking band with hm, and told some good stories, alongside his music. Very good.
