This Suella whaterface saga

I’m all for lynching the Tories (literally) but ffs. Did she do anything wrong? I might be a bit late to the party as I rarely see any mainstream news but I read how she tried to “dodge” her speeding fine and 3 points, to do the driver awareness course. Fucking “dodge”, it’s an option some folk are given. Then when she couldn’t get a private course she paid her fine and took the 3 points.
Taking personalities away from it you can’t blame her for trying to get a private course so she isn’t recognised and it’s proved she was right by the terminology used with the reporting of it.
I’m sure there’s much more news worthy stuff to be reporting on. How about the ones who received the sex trafficked kids from Epstein and Maxwell would be a good start.

Braverman had a choice.

She could have paid the fine and it remained under wraps. After all, other ministers must have been caught speeding in the past.

She chose to make a song and a dance about it and get others involved. As soon as that happens, in this day and age you’re asking for trouble.

Is the crime that bad? Not at all. It’s the fact she tried to get special treatment that is the issue.

She shouldn’t be in the cabinet anyway, Sunak needed the support of the ERG and she was the price.
She was stabbing him in the back at the recent NatC conference so he may take this chance and get rid.

She abused her position and tried to get special treatment.
Nobody else gets a private course, why should she be treated differently.
If the Archbishop of Canterbury is happy to take the points and fine …..

She claimed it was a security issue but if she had just turned up and got on with it no one would have given her a second look.

Might have done her some good to mingle with everyday people. But with the sense of entitlement & ego she has, she probably did everyone a favour...

The only trouble is there are still a few loonies around who just might do something daft and then that starts another shit storm

Not entirely convinced anything like that would happen in that situation, especially if people are totally unaware in advance who else might be attending the course. As mentioned earlier...

She shouldn’t be asking anyone, that’s were the fault lies.
Involving civil servants in a personal manner is a breach.

“Can you find out if I can take the speed awareness course privately?”
“I’ve asked, no you can’t!”
Ok, fuck it, I’ll pay the fine and take the points.”

The end.
Think you’ll find the last 3 words weren’t “take the points”, but “stop the boats”.

Mountain out of a mole hill. Don’t get me wrong, I wish it wasn’t. I’d love for her to be caught with her fingers in the till or compromising photos of her and Sunak or something (not that I’d want to see the photos) Different if it was that Pritti Patel, I’d use her shit for toothpaste me.

Agree, its not a big deal. Just another example of the Tory party tearing itself apart...that's the story here.

But is it the Tory party tearing itself apart or is it the press wanting their pound of flesh? If it’s the latter then it’s wrong.
Politicians should be answerable to the electorate not the press. All too often over the years they seem to set the agenda. Regardless whether I dislike the person they have decided to hang out to dry it’s bollocks

The Tory govt have chopped the bollocks off of the electorate with their relentless deflection & constant lying, so I can’t see how the likes of Braverman can be answerable to them.

Suellas team are blaming Tory insiders for leaking the info. I dunno, but it feels very on-brand for them . Specially after she went after sunak last week at that weird conference.

No they haven’t, the electorate have handed their bollocks to the Tories. With a smile on their faces. It’s called democracy.
Like it or not, at least they have said what they were going to do and cracked on with it. Unlike the other lot who make pledges and then lie about it when they dump those pledges.

Which is the point I’m making, Tory leaks, Labour leaks in the past. Cabinet members resigning at a press conference rather than privately to their leader to give the press a story. All of it is just underhanded, sneaky and wrong. Everyone seems to have an agenda nowadays

The only person making a mountain out of a molehill is good old dickie.
There's a straightforward story here, but of course there must be more to it we're not being allowed to see to deflect from the 'real' news ...
Despite claiming to hate the Tories and LAbour equally dickie's bias always shines through; make more of a Labour issue, and play down a Tory issue.
left right left right

Fucking idiot.
You fucked off to a backward country so you would come across as brighter. You have no right to comment on British politics.

Quite true. "Taking back control" doesn't appear to have been the version that the British public perhaps thought it meant. I'm fairly certain it wasn't "a chosen few are going to be as corrupt, duplicitous & greedy as possible" version.

You weren’t paying attention then. It’s what the Tories have always done. They’ve just taken it to another level.
