I was talking about the Referendum. With practically the full weight of the government, all of the organs of the state, the full support of the broadcast media, the oh so bright and knowing remainers could not manage to swing the result.

What a complete shower they were and to all intents and purposes still are.

Most of the government, all of the organs of the state, the broadcast media and the oh so bright and knowing had an inkling of what may happen, and lo and behold it's happening.

We've ended up trying to do trade deals with countries thousands of miles away and the same primeminister is telling all and sundry they need to grow up and face up to climate change.

The people of this country voted to leave. You simply can not handle that. Send them to the Gulags.

The reality is simple as I said above. The leave vote gave the mandate to the government to change this country for the better, supported by people like you, they felt able to choose otherwise in direct opposition to the will of the people.

The leave vote was an opportunity, not a problem, as a socialist you would not understand that.

Morning Mistryman.

Over the years I have rarely voted, a mixture of ideological and practical reasons. I did vote in the referendum and helped to give the government a mandate to change this country in a strong and positive way.

That they chose to do the opposite, wrecking the country in the process was an act of treason so yes, I am very angry about that.

In the 2019 election I voted to keep Corbyn and the Labour Party out, looking at the shit show being played out in Brighton right now, I am glad that I did.

Yes SF, right now, however bad the current government is, the Labour Party is going out of its way to show how it could be even worse. For a while I was beginning to think that was not possible but the last few days have clearly shown that it is.

Hackney, the shift to the left in British politics over the last 30 or so years is obvious, we have had socialist policies in place for much of that time. So yes, it really is down to 'those pesky socialists'.
