The Southport Cover Up

The previous government also ignored the warnings.
Which warnings are you referring to please?

If you are suggesting that the previous Government were a bunch of wankers then I will agree but this topic is about the POLICE and the current GOVERNMENT lying, aided and abetted by the Media

It's probably me being dense, but no matter how much you didn't support the previous government and don't have any excuses for them, as soon as you slag off Labour, and justifiably so, up pops the, 'But the Tories did this and the Tories did that.'

Has it be proven that it was a terrorist incident then?
The murders and attempted murders have to be motivated by terrorism.
It has to be beyond reasonable doubt, that the whole terrible event was for an ideological cause - for the charges of terrorism to stick in court.
These are the subtleties of the case.
Having Ricin, a terrorist training manual and the referrals to Prevent do point to terrorism sympathies, for sure.
But the court has to prove that these things have any relevance to the murders and attempted murders.

Strange.

Apparently Southport was not a terror-related incident. But as a result of Southport the government is now reviewing its counter-terrorism measures. Funny old world

Not really very funny...
The attack didn't fall under the Terrorism Act umbrella, at the time that it happened.
So they are going to broaden the definition of a "terror attack". That might get a little interesting...
Though this was hardly the first time there has been a "lone wolf" attack...

They will never admit that this terror offence is a terror offence.

Too much to lose for the Labour Pary and Starmer. If what I have read is true then I hope it all comes out on Friday. If it is Starmers position should be untenable. That is before they have to consider a lot of people in jail for speaking out...

He said today that the actions of the Southport killer should be considered an act of terrorism and that the definition should be widened.

See post #21
What about post 21? Farage smelt something amiss straight away and guess what - He was correct. But then we already knew he would be...

I see Starmer has come out swinging new legislation, a new type of terrorism, never happened before hyperbole etc. The man has a lot of answers to give and will hopefully start on Friday. He should have been more honest from the start. A leader needs to lead and be honest.

Post #21 where it was mentioned people being lied to and ending up in jail.
Did Starmer encourage them to break the law then?
