The snivelling ungrateful arab

As opposed to wasting the end of his career in Saudi....but that's OK because he is getting paid top $ tax free, so fine if his club want to transfer him there.
Had Steve Walsh not spotted him playing in the French 2nd division when he went to watch another player he would never have made it to the big time. Totally ungrateful. We made him. Maybe try to be a bit humble.

He said it years ago, someone failed to spot that and assumed he’d made the claim again.
Nothing to get upset about and certainly not worth insulting one of the best players we’ve ever seen.
 
His moniker (c) Soho always brings a smile to my face as does the thought of him sitting in an airport lounge waiting for a transfer that never came.
He deserves to give us more respect so fair play if he gets some stick. As he says “it’s part of the job”, although I don’t think he will be lurking on BR.
 
Professional footballers are mercenaries just like the rest of us in any job. The idea that they should love the club and the supporters only extends as far as we are paying them. He might have been a spoiled git with his transfer tantrums but he was a bloody exceptional player for several years and we would not have won the Premier League without the "x-factor" that he possessed. Kante was off as soon as humanly possible but because he was poached and didn't demand a transfer he's regarded with huge affection and quite rightly so. Not every player is Steve Walsh or Jamie Vardy.
Keith Weller went on strike, Gary Lineker went to Everton, Shilton engineered a move, Don Revie wanted out, Neil Lennon scarpered, Gary Mac left. Even Joe Mattock...

Frank McLintock, Allan Clarke, Bob Lee, David Nish, Alan Smith, Mike Newell, Emile Heskey, Harry Maguire, etc all left us when courted by so called bigger clubs but we still appreciate their contribution to our club.

Their right to earn a living where they want to is absolute but moaning about being made to honour a contract freely signed opens them up to ridicule. Basically lads if you can’t say anything nice shut the fuck up.

Tom Hanks (blacked up) is going to play the lead role in the motion film version of “The Snivelling Arab Footballer Marooned At Heathrow” (Net Flix). Meghan Markle is top billed as the “love interest” portrayal. While I have been cast in the pivotal role of 4th baggage handler who hands the Arab a box of man-size tissues in the tear jerking final scene!
