The planning application forms part of a major proposed remodelling of Leicester railway station.

I've dropped in there a good few times over the years whilst waiting for a train and I'm sure many other punters hereabouts have used it more frequently than me. Would be a shame to lose another boozer that serves proper beers but that's 'progress' eh?

Also The Case on Hotel Street is closing according to the Merc.Ownwer blaming SPS

Disastrous news regarding The Case. Serving by far the best food in Leicester for years, absolutely on another level.

Said on the telly it will cost £22 million (£22 fucking million!!!!) to make a new entrance to the station. Do we need a new entrance?

I thought the council were too skint to cut the grass!!

It’s crazy innit. Soon there will be less reliable electric trains too and we’ll all pay through the nose for the privelidge.
