As is so often the case these days the reporting is very selective. Numbers are actually very low and there is no mention of co-morbidities and, more importantly vaccine status.

Many of the complications appear as a result of 'unusual' immune system responses, yet we are not told if the patient has a modified immune system. Why not?

Interesting response . You have an optimistic interpretation of the research , but I fear it’s a very dangerous phase at present .

Thanks for your concern, genuinely appreciated.

Given the year that I have had I intend to be out and about as much as I can.

I have, as you know, been in and out of hospital for most of the past year, including 3 overnight stays in 2020, since the new year I have been working on my recovery and getting out an as much as I can. I have been to the gym 4 times a week since they reopened and do as much as I can to be out and about. I think that were I susceptible to covid I would have had it by now, so in that respect I am not worried, similarly If I considered myself I threat to others I would behave differently but I do not, for an instant consider that to be true.

As for yourself, try not to worry too much and get out in the sunshine, it is good for you, even if it involves that wretched game you seem to like so much.

Sadly was supposed to be on way to Algarve for a golf break next week but got too complicated so we’ve plumped for a U.K. venue instead .
Not really worried currently for myself, but suspect things are not going well generally due to the catastrophic handling of the situation by our “leader“.
