Agreed Micky Hoss.... I have a dozen Bowie albums, all brilliant, but TMWSTW with Width of a Circle is probably the most brilliant collection of tracks he ever put togetherTMWSTW is the best Bowie album imho

I saw Ian Hunter's Overnight Angels at the DeMont and there was a rumour that Ronno was going to guest on a few MTH songs but this never materialised. Earl Slick played lead on that tour.Amazing guitar work - it really was the 'perfect storm' with Bowie's musical genius & song-writing, plus three talented musicians Trever Bolder, Woody Woodmansey & Mick Ronson
My only regret was not seeing them play live at DeMont
I didn't know Earl Slick until hearing the fantastic guitar on DAVID LIVE. That's one of my top-10 albums of all time, and Earl Slick's guitar is right up there, along with Bowie's coolnessI saw Ian Hunter's Overnight Angels at the DeMont and there was a rumour that Ronno was going to guest on a few MTH songs but this never materialised. That was the only gig I went to at the DeMont that had the top tier shut, and I went to lots. I wasn't looking forward to it much and went under sufferance but it was magnificent, they played the majority of the OA songs as the new album hadn't been out long but they did at least 45 minutes of MTH greatest tunes, top gig.I didn't know Earl Slick until hearing the fantastic guitar on DAVID LIVE. That is the exact reason Wombat. The pre ticket sales were poor at the majority of the venues for this tour. The standing area was pretty packed by the time Knox and The Vibrators departed the scene.why did the close the balcony........ surely not because they were only expecting a small crowd.
