OK I'll ask it, please don't shoot the messenger!

If we could only achieve only one this season

Promotion back, or another FA Cup win?

Personally I'm torn because of missing out on the cup win because of the rona denying me a Wembley match ticket!

That FA cup win looks brilliant in the history books.
But stinks to high heaven. It gave Rodgers the licence to fuck the club over on the back of his dramatic failures to manage the great squad to the top four places that looked harder to avoid than cement.
The joy it brought to the owners masked the greater failings and the inexperienced Top rewarded Rodgers…… well we all know what happened
As I said looks great on paper but look back on it with very mixed emotions
As for your question…. Promotion please

The FA Cup means very little now days, it used to be more important than the league but them days finish when weaker teams were put out by the big clubs.

Now the top 2 divisions put out second strings, so your line is there.

What's more, we are going to go up dreading the next season as we are so weak. There as never been a team top the division with so little fight and effort.

Derbys 11 points could be in danger.

How about lose a thrilling FA cup semi final to a top top side through a dodgy refereeing decision. Means we will have beaten Chelsea, had a day in the sun at Wembley, earned some more dosh and gained some public and referring sympathy.
The players will be so pissed off and don't want to go back for the play offs so they win the championship at a canter playing mesmerising football in preparation for a PL return.
Do you think that I am asking for too much?

…..if Carlsberg did semi-final defeats

We had to win the FA Cup to get the monkey of our backs and expunge the bitter memories of our 3 finals in the 60s and the 74 semi. It was a holy grail of sorts for us oldies but now that we have done it I don't feel the same way about the FA Cup at all. It's not massive like it used to be.

I missed all three Wembley visits because of Covid so didn't see the Cup win or Charity Shield so I would love to get another opportunity, however not at the expense of promotion.

Our amazing journey was just about to start 10 years ago.
If anyone would have said that we would win the Prem and the F.A.Cup, play in the CL and be the envy of every ordinary club I would have been calling for the men in white coats .
Never thought any of that would happen in my lifetime.

Do you know what Brauny, if it all ends over the next year or two given this FFP mess, nobody will take away these past ten years and what we’ve seen our club achieve.

One accusation that can never be levied at us was that we’d overspent in 2016 to win the league.

are they killing football off ? Because this FFP to me seems complete nonsense , a rule that no one understands and you can be guilty without the faintest idea why.

The excuse is they are protecting clubs from self harming and going bust, the reality is it's snuffing out competition and actually protecting the elite.
If they want to treat football as a business then the Competitions Commission should step in.
They are there to stop the abuse of dominance in the market.

Didn’t we cheat with performance enhancing drugs so we had hardly any injuries or summat?
