The difference between watching us and England

i was in a local bar with a mate. we were both more excited about the half time food order at the taco truck next to it than the game.
The nacho fries were the highlight of the day.
The press foolishly make the mistake of thinking that English club team success means national team success, when most of the top teams (us included) have a small minority of English players.
The next day he texted me during the Germany v Portugal game and said "are these guys playing the same game as us?".
The fans aren't the brightest either.
When the squad was announced somebody moaned about how few Leicester players were in it, until it was pointed out to them that of the end of season starting 11, only Vardy (retired from international level), and Thomas were English.
The other thing that gets me is the close ups of fans who look like they've just lost a relative when a shot sails 5 yards over the bar. FFS.
Didn't Albrighton start end of season?

We can be the most boring team in the world if we win it. Tournament football Is all about winning. Take Greece they were awful to watch but managed to win it.
No, it's not about winning anymore. It's about having the best possession statistics.

Great individual players who play individual football, England never seem to play as a team and have a lack of enthusiasm on the pitch, that is down to the manager/coach who is just not good enough, will never change while the grey suits at The FA continue to tell everyone to play the game how they want…

The game how they want what does that even mean

I suspect it’s pretty simple. The FA still are a bunch of suits with little idea of the game WE know. Wembley is a classic example. Way way over budget so they play the cup SF there too. England internationals apart from the hard core of true fans are nothing more than tourist traps, visiting the FA shop to buy branded crap, half/half scarves and the usual corporate stuff that is Club Wembley. I was invited to a friendly in 2016 in the Bobby Moore suite. A £600 ticket. Once the meal was over 3 England ‘legends’ were introduced to us. One was Geoff Hurst. Absolutely an English legend. But the other two were Rob Lee and Carlton Palmer!!! Legends! Just a complete corporate jamboree

So two defensive midfielders again. Zzzzzz. So worried about losing. Southgate is Claude Puel and I claim my £5
He’s absolutely pathetic.
A game where we can lose & ultimately it doesn’t matter & he perseveres with the 2 dm’s. Absolutely unbelievable.
Sack him before ko.

I'd be more worried about
McGuire playing just back from a injury spell and playing against a striker on fire at the moment .....Ming's would be better and more mobile
