Terry Griffifths RIP

A gentleman & great ambassador for snooker, had the unusual nickname of Terry "Galeforce" Griffiths, as those were the days when snooker nicknames were mainly weather related, Hurricane, Whirlwind etc.
R.I.P. Terry Griffiths.

I'd have thought in terms of weather related nicknames and after the ' hurricane ' and ' whirlwind ' then ' ripple ' might have been more appropriate 😁
Lovely guy he and was part of an era when snooker was massive.

Terry lost 13-12 to Cliff Thorburn in the Crucibles latest ever finish.......3.51am. 😁
I recall reading about it somewhere.
I am sure there were about 5 people left in the audience.......and not all of them were awake🤣
