DC comics have announced that in their November issue Supweman will come out as bisexual.
It's a mixed up, muddled up, shook up world.

There's so many super heroes it makes sense that one of them may not be heterosexual.
Which one is a man that wears dresses? My money is on Thor.

Before I discovered football my heroes during my childhood were mostly comic book characters.
Roy of the rovers, Billy Whizz, Dennis the menace etc.
One thing they all had in common was they never had or mentioned sex. Ever.
That is how it should be for kids in their formative years.

Minnie the minx was interesting though still not sure to this day male or female. I know it had the name Minnie but still.

Or they could do something original, but that would involve things like creativity, an active imagination and talent. Piggybacking off someone else's work is the sign of a lazy hack.

I don't mind what persuasion he has as long as it has some relevance to the storyline. From what I read, it's not Superman at all but his son, John Kent. Seems like a nice boy, takes after his dad. His "love interest" looks very androgynous with purple hair and a hoodie. I'd post a photo but I don't have the image rights and I don't want to get the usual suspects frothing at the mouth.

Why the obsession with sex? There was always a thing between Superman and Lois Lane, Batman and Catwoman, I don't remember seeing any sex.

I haven't seen any pictures of them noshing each other off or pegging yet and very much doubt if we ever will! It's just love interest which frankly turns most youngsters off anyway as all they want is action.

I don't know how these things work around the world, but I do know how it works where I live. The big fanatics in fandom/cosplay/animation are the anime kids. With that you get loads of beautiful, androgynous characters. Most of the fans I've met/taught, mirror the behaviour. As a group, I usually like them. They'll turn up to exams in costume.

If this trend is the usual around the world, then the old Superman has lost most of the kids who are into comics etc. Sounds like a clever marketing solution for the short-term.

DC owns the corporate rights to Superman, they can do as they please.
When I hit the big time (any minute now) Sherlock Holmes develops a love for V-8 combustion engines and the Dave Clark Five.
