So they boo’d ‘The Knee’ last night

If the players have agreed amongst themselves to do it before a game I can't see why anyone can possibly object. It only takes about 5 seconds.

Even if you happen to think it’s a ‘political’ act and you disagree with those politics, why on earth would you trouble yourself to boo a gesture that clearly means something to the players and takes all of a few seconds? If it really offends you, just look at your phone, stare at the sky or pick your nose for a few seconds - it’ll be over before you know it.

The right to peacefully protest, are we allowed it or you Woke lot want to ban that as well ?

Politics as no place in football.

Kneelling is a demonstration of submission, this is undeniable even though some try. If any of you have noticed, the government are talking about huge changes in response to the massive demo in London ? Its in the Telegraph, your source of the truth, peaceful protest is our inalienable right. You all would complain if it wasn't peaceful.

is that what you want ?

The booing whether you like it or not is telling the people highjacking sport for a Tavistock Institute lead social programming move to fuck off.

Again bnet your misunderstanding things its not political, it's just a case of showing solidarity against all the racists. Its a personal choice some players do some don't, they aren't told to do it

There was a point where I was thinking it was possibly losing its potency.

But now crowds are back with knuckle-draggers among them, I hope it carries on. The more it pisses them off, the better.

Exactly. Being forced to mumble the words to some dirge about an over-priveleged 95 year old bag is a lot more inconvenient and objectionable than going down on one knee for 5 seconds.
Quite right . Imagine the outcry in The Tory press if 10% of the crowd who despise the monarchy booed God save the Queen .
It’s about respecting others beliefs .

It's a free Country - I'll boo what I like when I like. This virtue signalling bullshit being top of the list.

If the players don't like it - tough

Those who cry "Keep Politics out of football" . If taking the knee, a gesture in support of tolerance, is a political gesture, then so by association is booing it.

The booing was an embarrassment, even more so given the amount of mixed race players in the team.

Even players from your own team?

Justin
Fofana
Tielemans
Iheanacho
Amartey
Choudhury
Ricardo
Mendy
Ndidi

And that’s just the obvious ones. Given how close-knit they are if the Cup celebrations are anything to go by, then we can also list the whole squad.

What next? We pay your wages so just put up & shut up?

Boos his own players for suggesting racism isn’t a good thing . How very very sad

You sound like one of those angry dads you hear screaming abuse from the sidelines at under-10s football matches :ROFLMAO:

I'm not questioning your right to boo; I'm questioning why you would choose to do it. As Mistryman says above, we have a large number of black players at Leicester. The gesture is an attempt to show solidarity with them. If you boo it, they are probably going to regard that as an attack on what they regard as a simple gesture of solidarity. I'm not sure how that helps the team seconds before kick-off.

Out of interest . If someone booed the minutes silence on armistice day would you think that is their right to show these “ virtue signallers “ or would you think they were in fact , disrespectful arseholes ?

When's the support for the homo' & lesbo fraternity gesture, at the start of the second half, going to commence.
Maybe something at full time for the gypsy community too.

It is their right to do so
I was being kind.
Perhaps you should do something about it by confronting them then. But then the Woke are good on talk but less good on action.

Why - what’s stopping the knuckle dragger to work it out for him/herself? Why would you need a woke person to help them?

'Tis the modern way. Problems are dealt with by 'talking about them', not actually doing anything.

I deal with racism by not being racist. That is all.
