So these tin hat guys on here

I wonder why people continuously reject and ridicule others on here for putting forward ideas that are obviously feasible.

I have my vaccine 'passport' in my wallet. I've had it a few months now. It helped me get back into the country, (Hungary), and avoid having another ten days quarantine and tests. As people were being laughed at on here, in Europe the 'passport' was being lined up and arguments played out as to which vaccine would be acceptable, where. (Russian one bad, Western one good.)

I also have my passport. I suspect it will not be long before I need to show it in bars and shops.

Beats being dragged off to a camp.

Don't be silly Sf.

The camps are not for compliant drones, you know, those with the jabs and the masks etc, they are reserved for violent granny killers like me.
When they start breaking the windows of the unvaccinated, that’s when it’ll be hilarious
Actually there just may be enough people out there to make that not at all funny.

No one on here or elsewhere as far as I can see denied it may happen .
The point is some think it’s a sensible idea to help us get our freedoms back - some of you think it’s a denial of freedom .
That’s called a debate - and could be an interesting one, if it wouldn’t inevitably be hijacked by hysterical nonsense about Nazis .
To suggest as some do that asking people to show proof of their health to access night clubs id somehow akin to the mass extinction of a race is laughable and frankly disgusting.

Have you killed many violent grannies?
I have refused the jab, so obviously I have, violent ones being my speciality.

Freedom, what freedom.

Papers Please.

Anyone seen how they plan to enforce this Covid Passport?

Does anyone suspect it may just be yet another attempt to scare people into getting vaccinated? They've done the same thing loads of times before.

Take an example. You want to go to the Fan Club in town. You're in the queue. What form does the "passport" have to take? Are you showing the app on your phone? Something that could just be a fake screenshot?

How does this work for a large event?

The barcodes at places now. Surely nobody actually uses these properly? Just hover your phone near it. Nobody checks.

It's all a load of crap...

Of course there will be ways round it, people will make fake apps etc, in that sense I have no worries. My deep concern is the reaction to all this happening by people. I think we can all be a little sceptical to whether the pandemic was really a 'pandemic' by now, we can certainly question whether we are still in the grips of a fatal pandemic at the moment. I don't think so. And now people seem happy to have covid passports to move around in a way that two years ago we wouldn't even have considered being questioned on.

It's frightening.

Personally, I'm not happy about the Covid passport.

I still don't believe it will happen. Could be wrong - but I can't see how they can do it by September and it would be easily open to abuse anyway.

Stop worrying and live your life...

I know I have been predicting this sort of stuff for a while but I really hope I am wrong.

If this is real, we need a mass movement of people refusing to get on board with this, reactions so far suggest it is not going to happen.

On the other hand it might simply be another coercion tactic as you suggest. But FFS why?

What really concerns me is that change in mindset that all of us, to some degree, have undergone. Neil Ferguson admitted that SAGE initially thought lockdowns were out of the question because the UK population was not compliant enough. However, once Italy had succumbed, they saw an opportunity that the population of a similar Western liberal democracy might also be manipulated. That was the initial chink of light for them, the thin end of the wedge (other cliches are available).

SAGE, the Government behavioural insights unit and various other agents of manipulation or coercion, depending on your level of cynicism and/or paranoia, have taken full advantage ever since. This has now culminated in the critical mass of compliance having been reached amongst the population to enable the Government to introduce Covid passports. I agree that it seems unworkable in practice but, even if it "encourages" many of the previously apathetic or rebellious unvaccinated, especially the current young target audience, it will, no doubt have served it's purpose for those in control. Kafka would have loved it wouldn't he ?

If it is a coercion tactic, then the reason is to get people jabbed-up.

They were even specific, in targeting nightclubs and the 18-35 age group.

It couldn't be any more obvious...

When I spend a few minutes in horrified disbelief that our education system has produced such spectacular stupidity by perusing the unsubstantiated drivel that is posted here I sometimes despair.

Having just come back from the local sainsburys and in a count of 79 people saw only one (an old lady ) without a mask my faith in the basic common sense and decency of my fellow citizens is somewhat restored .

They ask for proof of age too . Does that make them Nazis or is that so they can prepare the camps ?

I know, I keep thinking about that line about making the lie big enough.

Given that Franz had TB, I think he’d have stayed well away and just written a few more books and soppy letters to Milena.

Interesting choice to bring up Kafka.

He got Spanish Flu and was severely ill with it.

In the aftermath, his health never improved and he died of a respiratory illness at the age of 40.
