Left work at 01:30...road from East Midlands Airport to m1 was horrendous...m1 was ok...slip road to junction 22 was shite but the real fun was getting into markfield....managed just about.

A511 Bardon to Markfield was blocked at 7am

DHL driver has got through to Hinckley this morning

They shut the run way about 11pm last night....I checked the roads before I left online and it said a lorry was blocking Bardon road.

By way of an update, we got another foot last weekend. Temperatures have been below freezing since, so it’s still on the ground and set to be around for at least another week!
