Smith .Move the ball quicker work hard

I fear the real problem is getting the majority on side, with possibly half knowing they’re leaving. They’ve got no loyalty to Leicester aside from the local boys and I’d say Vardy who is a different breed to the other over pampered lot. How does Smith ‘sell’ this to the players.
IMO we’ve acted far far too late. The last 3 games were so important and we got zip. Let’s hope we don’t get battered at the Etihad and somehow Southampton Leeds and Forest screw up. I think everyone else will be safe.

For me Smith summed it up with one word - lethargic.

But like any manager coming in at this stage how is he going to fix:

1) Lack of fitness
2) Lack of confidence
3) Lack of desire
4) Lack of fight
5) Getting the players to play forward instead of backwards

Even though had we sacked Rodgers weeks ago the calibre of candidates for the job would likely to have been at a higher level than Smith, I really do wish him well and I do believe he's a step up from the previous incumbent.

Still a bit bizarre though that Villa have Unai Emery as their manager and we have one they discarded and who couldn't fully deliver at Norwich.

Its all because the club didn't act quickly enough and at a time when, even though in the bottom half, we were still an attractive proposition to some of the best managers around.

No more bizarre than not long ago, us beating Villa 4-2 at their place.

Can Smith watch that game, and the Spurs one, and somehow get us replicate that form? Or did we just get lucky?
