Sir Jameh 🦊⚽️👏

I've been following our all time scores and appearance record for a while now

If Vardy gets past Ernie Hine with just the two Arthurs ahead of him that'l be a huge achievement and legend status (not that he doesn't have it already.)

As for appearances, Kasper is on track to go past Walshy, Wallington and Hugh Adcock this season with just Adam Black and Graham Cross ahead of him

Yes thats it

Just checked the good book OF&F . That has 599 not including the CS.

His own Wikipedia lists CS in his honours but only 599 appearances.

I’d love Jamie to get 150 PL goals but with nearly 30 more needed I think it just may be beyond him unless he gets a load of pens.
But to be 3rd in our all time list is one hell of an achievement in the modern game at such a comparatively small club like ours

What makes Vardy stand so tall, aside from his goals, and assists, is the attitude he brings to every game. Never once looks like he can’t be arsed, never once seems physically intimidated, never once switches off for long periods in a game, never once berates the supporters, never once feigns injury, or looks like he’s begging to be subbed. No Billy Big Bollux, no twatty hairstyles, or kit fetishes, no poor me rolling around or sulking, no petulance, just a bloke who plays the game as it should be played, and enjoys it, and whose celebrations are worthy of a clips show far longer than most of the goal highlights put together by lesser wannabes. I doubt I’ll see his like again, at our club or in English football, in my lifetime. Forget the knighthood, he should be made Lord Vardy

That is a wonderful summery. I think that’s what most adheres him to the fans. He’s like someone from a bygone age, a throwback where honesty and hard work were a given. That as well as the way he has evolved his own game over the years means he’s to me the perfect package.
Tip for Maddison. If you go down and you’re injured fine. But if you’re not take a leaf out of Jamie’s book, who gets clattered a lot more than you. That bit where you suddenly got off the floor immediately after Albrighton scored summed him up for me.
Vardy has NEVER forgotten where he came from. A true real legend in a football world full of plastic false ones.
