Selection problem

Hard to drop Daka after scoring four, Vardy is on a hot streak, Iheanacho playing well.
Buck must be scratching his buckin head over this one.

Well he ain't taking Vardy's place, and Nacho is looking far more comfortable in the set up. Don't get carried away with one performance, it's hard to guage the quality of Spartak. It's nice to have 3 strikers that could do a job, a luxury that I can't recall having before. Heskey and Collymore for One wonderful game, Lineker and Smith in the 80's. Never 3 to choose from

Daka's not under any pressure to vie for an immediate starting place so it's a nice problem to have at the moment.

He will be still learning about the pace of the Premier League and I do not mean having quick feet it's quickness of the mind to get into positions of danger his pace comes naturally marry them together we could have one hell of a player, even now his pace will frighten defenders just as Jamie does but with Jamie he has got better with age his all round ability, he sees things before they happen as is movement scares people
he now has two players on him a lot,
Daka watch and learn.

Well according to the BBC sport website:

Leicester's Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans, 24, has turned down the offer of a contract extension, putting Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich on alert

So soon there may be no Youri selection option.

I would imagine daka has been told he'll get Europa, league Cup and maybe fa cup starts , but be on the bench for Premier league games for now.
It's nice to have the option of 3 forwards though.

Morning.

Both Soumare and Daka were excellent on the day but Spartak were not Premiership opposition. Good as they may be on occasion they do not play with anything like the power or pace of any decent Premier league club.

The trick is going to be getting that level of performance out of them in the league, they are young, have terrific potential but are some way from the standards needed. That is not meant to be pessimistic, realistic I think.

While he adjusts to the pace/guile/strength needed for the PL, scoring 4 will have gone some way to making him feel that he’s capable of making the grade.

A good confidence builder too.

Napoli arrogantly put out a reserve side and only brought on the big guns when it was too late. They also played 60 mins with 10 men.
I hadn't realised that. That arrogant misjudgement by Napoli has just left enough space for us to squeeze through as Group Winners despite our total non-appearance in Warsaw.

We need a draw tonight though

You cannot stop a player wanting to move on to better things......but he must realize that he may himself, have thrown a spanner in the works because
he will it go cheaply so that puts him on
in a higher bracket limiting him to less teams
But in a higher bracket plus on his terms
limits him to just a handful of teams should they afford him

Akinbiyi, Sturridge and Cresswell. The perfect combination of banjo/cow’s arse, perpetually offside and Josh Slow’s even slower cousin.
We're in a season of dreadful 20 year anniversaries at the moment. Maybe there's one which featured all three of them on the pitch at the same time and no goals scored. I'm not sure I'll bother going through the line-ups though...
